There is a little castle in South Tyrol named „Schloss Sonnenburg„. It is almost 4000 years old and quite charming. We ate Schlutzkrapfen, a typical dish for this area and took a bath its rock pool. Have you ever been to Reinhold Messners Museum MMM Corones? It is up in the mountains and we had the unlucky luck that it was covered in thick clouds. We did not have a view at all and it was breathtaking.

The Mountain Messner Museum MMM Corones is located at the summit plateau of Kronplatz, South Tyrol. It is strongly influenced by the life and journeys of Reinhold Messner and created by architect Zaha Hadid.
If you go there on a sunny day, it offers unique views that go beyond the borders of South Tyrol to all points of the compass: from the Lienz Dolomites in the east to the Ortler in the west, from the Marmolada in the south to the Zillertal Alps in the north.
